Knowledge knows no age and knows no bounds – 2026

Interview in french

Interview conducted by Bertrand Juvenot (author, independent series editor, speaker).

In this interview for Jouvenot.com, Alexandre Martin—co-author with Ismaelle Haddouzi and Lee Schlenker of Recruit and Manage Your Talent with AI (De Boeck Supérieur, 2026)—discusses the book’s origins and how AI is transforming recruitment, talent management, and leadership.

Drawing on my unconventional career path—from warehouse worker to business intelligence analyst—I advocate for the recognition of non-traditional skills and career paths, and argue that AI should be used to identify talent rather than confine it to traditional models.

I also outline my vision for responsible AI (privacy, fairness, reliability, sustainability, accountability, transparency), my predictions regarding robotics and quantum computing, and my advice: never stop learning.

Humans are a danger to themselves – 2021

In this SoloTablet interview (in the “Homo sapiens and Homo digitalis” section), Carlo Mazzucchelli, a Ph.D. candidate in AI ethics, explores the limits of artificial intelligence: data bias, abuses of surveillance, autonomous weapons, and the risk of out-of-control superintelligence.

Drawing on philosophical references (Hobbes, Benasayag, Varanini) and concrete examples (AirTags, Amazon’s hiring practices, military drones, social control in China), I advocate for regulated AI—initially restrictive and then gradually liberalized—much like a (computer) firewall.

A critical reflection on the role of humans in relation to machines: AI must remain a tool at the service of humans, not a substitute for their dignity, judgment, or freedom.
